Out by 6am via Mysore road. About six hours with a breakfast stop at Maddur.
Watch out
Leave at 8 instead of 6 and the Mysore road adds ninety minutes.

Abbey Falls, then home
Falls first thing, a coffee estate walk, and on the road by 3pm to be home before midnight.
Worth knowing
Most estates do a free walk-through if you buy coffee at the end. Just ask at the gate.

Monsoon is the best and the worst time. Everything is green, everything is also leeches.

Overnight bus, a cycle, and more walking than expected.
